Name: IAH Generator Project

Client: CBRE/Consolidated Car Rental, LLC

Project Info: Toney installed a combination of (2) 200KW, (3) 300KW, and (1) 600KW Taylor Generators to serve as a backup power solution for the parking garage, office building, and bus maintenance facility. There were unique challenges to overcome due to the height of the underbelly of diesel fuel tanks and breaker panels. Specialized access platforms were meticulously designed and  installed to address this, making maintenance and breaker panel access hassle-free.

Generators were also integrated into the building’s BAS system. This integration empowers the Building Maintenance Group to maintain real-time monitoring of generator functions and operations, adding an extra layer of efficiency and reliability.

The ground was stripped to install the generator foundations with precision. The setup included ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) and conduits expertly installed at each generator tie-in point. The project also included the application of Ground Face CMU Stone, the addition of Ameristar Decorative Iron Fencing or Louvered Fencing, 57 Stone for aesthetic finishing touches, and various other enhancements.
